WORSHIP FOR THE AGES

A new generation of believers is discovering the Gospel grandeur of traditional Reformed worship.

THE REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE

Traditional Reformed Worship begins with the simple observation that to best worship God, we ought to first listen to God.  In other words, God actually tells us in the Bible how we can meet with Him in worship, the offerings that we should bring to honor Him in our worship, and what blessings we may expect from Him when we do.

The Christian worship outlined in Scripture and practiced by the Reformed Church is admittedly simple: in our Sunday worship services, we read and preach the word of God, administer the New Covenant sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper, sing hymns of adoration and praise together, and offer God our prayers in faith.  That's what we do, and it's all that we do.

And yet in its simplicity, biblical worship is uniquely powerful, not only in that God the Spirit is pleased to bless the worship that He ordains, but also because when not obscured by man's devices, the glory of God in the Gospel of His Son shines clearly and brilliantly upon the assembled people of God with an unrelenting focus throughout the worship hour.  Thus, it is the light of Jesus Christ and Him alone that illuminates every believing heart in traditional Reformed worship.  And that is powerful.

We invite you to come and see what we mean.
